Pierre-Alain MILLET is currently teacher in the computing department at the National Institute of Applied Sciences of Lyon (INSA-Lyon), France,.
He obtained a Master degree in mathematics (1982), and was software project manager in production management during 6 years., then ERP consultant for middleand large siez enterprises until 2008 (INFOR LN (BAAN), ADONIX, AXAPTA/Microsoft Dynamics, SAP A1). He obtained a master degree in industrial computing in 1995 (Université Claude Bernard - Lyon 1). He became associate professor in INSA de Lyon in 2000. He obtained a PH. D in computing from INSA de Lyon in 2008, and was recruited as assistant professor by INSA de Lyon in 2010.
His research interests deal with business-IT alignement, enterprise integration in organisational and informational dimensions, maturity of information system usage, in the context of supply chains, enteprises and administrations, for which collaborative digital practices have more and more impact on global efficiency of organisations.

His teaching activities deal with enterprise modelisation and integrated information system (ERP). He works on modeling platform ((ARIS) with process, dahsboard,...SOA approaches, and applications (SAP ERP, SAP Business By Design, erp5).
