A crucial element of the management activities of a manufacturing company consists in the configuration and efficient organization of its production system, as well as the operation of its supply chains. Most real configuration problems and organization of supply chains are characterized by numerous technical and/or commercial sources of uncertainty; it is not realistic to assume that all model parameters are known with certainty. In addition, environmental and social criteria may strongly influence decisions. In this context, multi-objective stochastic approaches may prove efficient. This three days workshop (in English) offers the opportunity to MSc. and Ph.D. students, researchers and industrials to discuss these problems and solutions during lectures and tutorials led by international personalities who are experts on these topics.
